Parkinson CARE is a self-management program for those diagnosed with Parkinson's who would like a better understanding of the disease and how to manage symptoms and improve quality of life. The program is a small group education and support class that will cover symptoms of the disease, treatments, self-management skills, as well as address coping with the disease, how to self-advocate, understand impact on relationships, and how to stay engaged. This program is FREE but registration is required. The class will be held at One Senior Place Orlando in Altamonte Springs on Thursday, November 29 and Friday, November 30th from 1:00-5:00 pm. Once you have registered, please email your contact information to the Outreach Center to: anissa.mitchell@flhosp.org including your name, email, phone number and mailing address so forms can be sent to you in advance.
