2016 WALK FOR PARKINSON
April 16, 2016 | 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Blue Jacket Park, Orlando, Florida
WALK FOR PARKINSON is a campaign to raise awareness and funds through annual fundraising walks. Each walk features a “Movement Pavilion”, with stations such as yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, dance, cycling, exercise and much more. Studies show that movement is beneficial and proven to help manage the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, improving flexibility and mobility.
The aim is to encourage people to stay active and “move” for better health. With your help we are better able to reach people of all ages and abilities about the role that movement and exercise play in managing their symptoms.
Those participants who have donated or raised $100 or more are eligible for the 2016 PACF Walk for Parkinson’s commemorative shirt.
